Peter Hyoguchi wrote and directed the indie feature First, Last and Deposit which was picked up by The Independent Film Channel in 2001 after winning the audience award for Best Feature Film at the San Francisco Indie Film Fest as well as Best Drama at the New York Indie Film Festival. The film was accepted in the Berlin Film Market, and IFP (NYC).

Peter has been hired to write five feature screenplays – including an adaptation of a Ray Bradbury script and two best-selling novels. From 2002-2004, he taught screenwriting, film production and film history at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Hyoguchi is the co-founder of a Berkeley, Calif.-based video production company, minidocs™, and has directed over 50 mini-documentaries distributed through Yahoo!, MSN, AOL and TurnHere.com. Commercial clients include UCLA, Coldwell Banker and Hachette Audio.

Hyoguchi is the creator of InterviewingHollywood.com: Offering an illuminating window into the inner workings of the film and television industry. It’s a fascinating if not addictive website produced for everyone from Hollywood insiders to film geeks worldwide.
